While Facebook doesn’t let you completely disable comments on personal profile posts, you can control who can comment or limit comments on specific types of posts. Here's how to manage or Turn Off Comments on Facebook on the type of post:

🔒 For Personal Profile Posts:
You can’t turn off comments entirely, but you can limit who is allowed to comment.

📱 On Mobile:
Go to the post on your timeline.

Tap the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner of the post.

Select “Who can comment on your post?”

Choose from:

Public

Friends

Profiles and Pages you mention

Find the post you want to change.

Click the three dots (•••) at the top-right of the post.

Select “Who can comment on your post?”

Pick your desired audience
